Therapy
Approach
I use an integrative model that draws upon cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness tailored to meet your individual needs. Understanding the neurological functioning underlying anxiety can also promote positive change. We will create a space where you can better understand your thoughts and emotions in order to achieve your goals.
Clients typically schedule weekly teletherapy sessions and then less frequently as their symptoms decrease. Clients may also choose to be in therapy for longer periods of time as new goals are created. Our first few meetings will involve an assessment of your concerns. I will offer you my initial impressions and recommendations. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions during this process.
